On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, students of the Institute of Jurisprudence and Psychology met with representatives of the Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
At the meeting, Michael Sullivan, a well-known American lawyer, attorney, diplomat and international observer at the OSCE Mission, told students about the organization’s work on human rights in Ukraine and the OSCE special monitoring mission.
Duncan Spinner, an international observer at the OSCE mission, Humanitarian and Gender Coordinator who deals with human rights issues, also came to the meeting.
Representatives of the OSCE Mission to Ukraine stressed that law students and academics have the opportunity to join the mission as volunteers – information on available initiatives can be found on the mission’s website.
