The Veteran Development Centre at Lviv Polytechnic, the British HopeFull Foundation and the Veterans – Way Home movement invite veterans to participate in a three-day recovery programme called «A Secure Future».

This is a peer-to-peer support space for those who:

  • have combat experience;
  • have returned but are still looking for their place in civilian life;
  • feel tired, angry, lonely or lost;
  • want to understand themselves and find new direction.

The programme is run by British and Ukrainian veteran facilitators.

Additionally, on 17 September, there will be a one-day training session for facilitators (participation in the programme is mandatory). This is an opportunity to apply the skills you have acquired in working with groups or to join the team of facilitators for the Secure Future programme.

The training will take place on the following dates:

  • 14–16 September – first training group;
  • 17 September – one-day training for facilitators;
  • 18–20 September – second training group;

Participation is free of charge, but the number of participants is limited. The address and schedule will be sent to registered participants by email.
