Currently, Lviv is in a green quarantine zone. Therefore, the First Year Student Convocation is planned on August 30 at 10:00 on the square near the IV academic building of Lviv Polytechnic. Training for freshmen (bachelor’s and master’s degree) will begin on September 1, and for the 2nd - 4th year students – on August 30.
– We plan to start study offline. But we monitor the general situation in the country, as well as the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the State Committee on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations. However, as the authorities establish certain rules in the state as a whole, we are forced to follow them, explained Oleh Davydchak, Vice-Rector for Graduate Education. – The study schedule is arranged so that students will have days for lectures, and separately – days for laboratory and practical classes. If a yellow or orange quarantine zone is introduced, the lectures will be held online, and the practical and laboratory classes, which are conducted for smaller groups of students, will be held offline.
