Lviv Polytechnic is the fifth in the university rating «Top 200 Ukraine» in 2017

This year, the annual university rating «Top 200 Ukraine» has been compiled for the eleventh time in a row. It has become a recognized system of independent assessment of university work for the academic community, employers and Ukrainian society in general. During the last decade, «Top 200 Ukraine» has been stimulating competition among universities in our country according to the main criteria of their work assessment.

The output data to determine the rating have been provided by the universities themselves and obtained from independent Web resources.

The recognized leaders of Ukrainian education are in top ten of the rating. Every year they improve their academic indices, strengthen their relations with the job market, take part in the international work. They are marked by various international rating systems.

According to the complex of criteria requirements, National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» is the winner of «Top 200 Ukraine». Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Vasyl Karazin Kharkiv National University are second and third respectively. National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» became fourth, Lviv Polytechnic National University – fifth. Another Lviv university – Ivan Franko Lviv National University – remained ninth.

It should be stressed that in comparison with «Top 200 Ukraine» rating in 2016, Lviv Polytechnic received a higher assessment of its research pedagogical potential (12,00 to 10,07), however, its international recognition assessment has decreased (17,04 to 20,00).
