The Lviv Polytechnic has taken a fifth place at the new ranking of higher education institutions "Top-200 Ukraine"

This year the ranking of "Top-200 Ukraine" celebrates its first anniversary – it is held for the tenth time. Launched in 2006, the project was the first and remains today the only accredited by IREG academic rating in Ukraine, the hallmark of which is an attempt to compare the different types of universities on the basis of the universal system criteria.

This year, the sole leader of the ranking of "Top 200 Ukraine" was the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". The second place took  the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The third and fourth places went to HEI of Kharkiv, accordingly, the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the National Technical University 'Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute'. In the fifth place was the Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The five leaders are the recognized flagships of Ukrainian higher education and science, they have more than a centenary history of the development of their scientific and pedagogical schools, they are widely recognized in the world, they have the ambitious and reasonable strategies of their development.
