Next academic year, students majoring in Publishing and Printing at Lviv Polytechnic National University will start studying under the updated UI/UX Design program. Members of the Lviv IT Cluster participated in its modernization.
Senior and Lead specialists from Qubstudio, LinkUp Studio and OTAKOYI worked together with University representatives to update the educational program. Thanks to this approach, it was possible to update the program and make it maximally adapted to the needs of the market. Specialists from the Cluster companies will be teaching and mentoring under the updated program.
"In order to modernize the educational program, the Department of Publishing Information Technologies cooperated with Lviv IT Cluster. This made it possible to update the bachelor’s program, to form competences and to introduce some academic disciplines that students will be able to choose. Practitioner experts who are best oriented in the needs of the IT industry will be involved in the teaching process. Modernization of the program through the introduction of innovative subjects and courses, taking into account the requirements of the labour market, will give the opportunity to be as oriented as possible to the demands of the industry", said Mykola Lohoida, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Publishing Information Technologies, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, curator of the updated program from Lviv Polytechnic.
The updated UI/UX program is a great opportunity for young people who want to build a successful career related to graphic design. While studying, students will receive both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that can be applied in projects after graduating from the University. During their studies, students will have the opportunity to do internships in IT companies that are members of the Cluster.
