Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania presented Polytechnic with a generator and provided other humanitarian aid

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in the city of Ternopil and Ternopil Oblast, in the person of Honorary Consul Yaroslav Vizniak, handed over a 6.6 kW gasoline generator to Lviv Polytechnic National University.

According to Volodymyr Shepitchak, head of the Center for the Collection of Humanitarian Aid at Lviv Polytechnic, said, it took place with the assistance of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, in particular thanks to the participation of Oleh Tsybenko.

In addition to the generator, Polytechnic received a canister for fuel, lubricant for the generator, an extension cord and a lantern for lighting the room.

– We handed over a letter of request to the honorary consul, which describes the needs of the University in the difficult time of the war. The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania is ready to continue to help us, assured Volodymyr Shepitchak.

Let us remind you that Lviv Polytechnic have recently received another batch of generators from Polish partners, the largest weighing 3 tons. The Polish city of Gliwice handed over three powerful generators to Polytechnic. In addition, the University of Opole handed over several generators to Lviv Polytechnic, one of which weighs almost a ton. Polish rescuers handed over a new 16 kW generator to Lviv Polytechnic. Also, Lviv Polytechnic National University received a 250 kW generator, the cost of which is 20,000 euros.
