Firefighters from the city of Lodz handed over a 16 kW generator to Lviv Polytechnic National University.
According to Mykhailo Lobur, Head of the Department of Computer-Aided Design, the Institute of Computer Science and Information, Lviv Polytechnic, Rector Yurii Bobalo set him the task of agreeing with his Polish colleagues on a certain number of generators for the University. Professor Mykhailo Lobur met with the administration of the city of Lodz with a letter from the Rector. Local firefighters agreed to purchase and independently bring to the University a powerful diesel generator. In addition to Polytechnic, a local hospital and an art gallery also received generators.
It should be noted that it is not the first time that Lodz rescuers come to Ukraine with a humanitarian cargo.
Let’s remind you that Lviv Polytechnic has recently received another batch of generators from Polish partners, the largest weighing three tons. The Polish city of Gliwice handed over three powerful generators to Polytechnic. In addition, University of Opole handed over several generators to Lviv Polytechnic, one of which weighs almost a ton.
