Anastasiia Honcharuk, a graduate of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, told about the effectiveness of a double degree program under the Joint Study Agreement between Lviv Polytechnic National University and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
During her studies at Lviv Polytechnic the student was engaged in various types of scientific activity, in particular in writing scientific articles. In her 5th year of study at Lviv Polytechnic, there was an opportunity to study for a year in Poland under a double degree program. It is important that education at the University of Warmia and Masuria is free for our students.
Studying in Olsztyn gave Anastasia the opportunity to demonstrate what she had learned at Lviv Polytechnic. The number of subjects studied, the volume of books read, the number of conferences organized allowed her to achieve the main task: to clearly understand, analyze and evaluate the situation or events, based on the acquired knowledge and experience shared by her academics.
The coordinators of the double degree program – on the Ukrainian side, Professor Yaryna Turchyn, and on the Polish side – Professor Teresa Astramowicz-Leyk performed an additional motivational role for the students.
After graduating from two universities and receiving diplomas, Anastasia Honcharuk began her internship in the Marshal’s Office of Warmia and Masuria in Olsztyn.
