From October 12 to 17, 2018, within the Agreement on International Cooperation between Lviv Polytechnic National University and Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin (from May 18, 2012) and the Plan of Scientific Cooperation for 2016–2018 between the Institute of Economics and Management of Lviv Polytechnic and the Department of Accounting of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, the students of the Department of Accounting and Analysis of IEM participated in the scientific seminar Standards of International Financial Reporting – Implementation and Development Prospects organized by the Economists, and in integration study tour Radar 2018, organized by the Student Government Council of the Faculty of Economics of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University.
A group of third-year students of the Accounting and Taxation speciality, headed by the Assistant Professor of the Department of Accounting and Analysis Tetiana Voskresenska, had the opportunity to participate not only in the scientific seminar, but in extremely interesting and interactive cognitive excursions organized by Polish colleagues. Within the program, they got acquainted with cultural and historic heritage of such cities as Zamość (October 12–13), Lublin (October 13) and Krasnobrod (October 14–16).
Inspiring impression on students was made by the integration study tour Radar 2018, aimed to help students to adapt to the educational process, to get acquainted with active student organizations, and to discuss the peculiarities of study with Heads of the Faculty of Economics. This year, Małgorzata Kamieniecka, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin attended the opening of Radar 2018. The participants had an opportunity to discuss important aspects of the organization and educational process at the Faculty of Economics.
The integration study tour of the students of the Accounting and Taxation speciality was full of positive emotions due to new acquaintances, active participation in integration games, quests and other interesting events.
On October 17–20, a group of students from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University together with Deputy Dean Małgorzata Kamieniecka paid a visit to Lviv Polytechnic, took an active part in the IV International Scientific Student Conference and took Lviv walking tours.
