Opportunities and threats to the development of creative industries in the region were discussed at the SID City Science Park, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Within the working group, representatives of the authorities, science and business of Lviv region, in particular Lviv Regional State Administration, Lviv Regional Council, Lviv City Council, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Tech StartUp School, and representatives of creative industries (IT, information services, activities in the field of design, creativity, arts and entertainment, production of audio, video products and promotional materials, jewelry production, etc.), exchanged views on the strengths and weaknesses of the development of this smart specialization priority.
At the meeting it was:
- developed proposals for the SWOT-matrix of creative industries;
- formulated a preliminary vision for the development of the creative industries of the region for the next 10 years.
The organizers of the event express their gratitude to all participants for productive and inspiring work and continue to work on the development of the Smart Specialization Strategy of Lviv region and the Roadmap for the implementation of the action plan for creative industries. In addition, the results of the work will be proposals to improve mechanisms to support priority economic activities in the field of creative industries in the framework of regional targeted programs, as well as joint projects.
