On September 15, 2018, the Odesa National Polytechnic University hosted international competitions of autonomous robots for Odesa Polytechnic Cup, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of this University.
Competitions took place with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. 18 teams took part: 15 from Ukraine, 1 from Germany and 2 from Byelorussia. The struggle was hard and intense, but our country showed solid results as all the prizes were given to Ukrainian teams.
The first place and the Cup of Odesa Polytechnic was given to the team of Lviv Polytechnic National University under the direction of Vasyl Tataryn, Associate Professor of the Department of Photonics, the team of Cherkasy National University had the second place, and Ternopil Economic University – the third. Lviv Polytechnic has taken part in such competitions since 2013 and has always occupied the first three places.
The next competitions – for the Lviv Polytechnic Cup – will be held on October 27, 2018.
