On September 21, 2023, the Department of Pedagogics and Innovative Education (PIE), the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic, held the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference "Professional development of a teacher in the context of integration into the European educational space: international academic and professional / professional-pedagogical mobility”, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the PIE Department.
The scientific committee consisted of representatives of higher education from seven countries: Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Romania and China. 97 researchers and education workers took part in the work of the scientific meeting.
A welcome speech was delivered by:
- Volodymyr Ortynskyi - Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- Fausto Presutti - Doctor of Psychology, Professor of Psychology, President of the Institute of Psychological Science of Education and Training and the European Center of Education (I.S.P.E.F. - E.C.E., Rome, Italy);
- Yurii Kozlovskyi - Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Deputy Director of the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- Ivan Bezena - Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Education, Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education (Dnipro, Ukraine).
Conference participants from all regions of Ukraine and participating countries discussed the urgent problems of professional development of teachers in the process of integration into the European education area in wartime conditions, ways of its implementation through international academic and professional / professional-pedagogical mobility. The discussion of the proposed topic proved its relevance.
The conference was held in a mixed format, which made it possible to ensure effective communication and at the same time expand the circle of participants.
