The Spanish National Research Council has published the latest (January 2020 Edition 2020.1.1) international University ranking – Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics).
For over 15 years, Webometrics has been researching over 25,000 higher education institutions in the world that have their own web resources. The main idea of the ranking is to evaluate the scientific, educational and social mission of the universities indirectly through the indicators of the universities’ presence on the Internet.
Lviv Polytechnic National University ranks eighth among Ukrainian higher education institutions in this ranking. Let us remind that in January Webometrics ranking of 2019 Lviv Polytechnic was 10th, and in July – 7th.
