Assistant Professor of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences gave a lecture in Milan on the fate of Italian soldiers in Lviv in 1943

According to Radio Svoboda website
Іван Хома

«The Italian Victims in Lviv in 1943», «Lviv Controversial Case», or «Italian Tragedy in Lviv» is how the Italian press and historiography entitles a partial investigation into the fate of Italian soldiers in Ukraine during World War II. The topic is also studied in Ukrainian historical science, where there is even bigger lack of serious researches.

Recently in Milan, Ivan Khoma, Associate Professor at the Department of History, Museum Studies and Cultural Heritage, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv historian, who studied what happened to Italian soldiers in the autumn of 1943 (were the former allies really massacred by Germans or did the Soviet propaganda exaggerate Nazis deeds in order to conceal USSR war crimes?) gave a lecture on this topic.
