Ukraine is one of the leaders in Europe in digitalization of services. The high level of information technologies in pharmacy is the result of the fruitful work of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. As a result, in the field of medical and pharmaceutical activities, in parallel with medical information, a separate direction is formed – pharmaceutical informatics.
The team of the international project Good solutions for gaps in Pharmacy: in line with European priorities analyzed the digitalization of various segments of the functioning of practical and scientific pharmacy and proved that the use of principles and methods of pharmacoinformatics today is an integral part of integral part of the pharmaceutical business, work in pharmacies and manufacturing pharmaceutical enterprises. Therefore, the study of the pharmacoinformatics course in higher education institutions of Ukraine for students of specialties of industry 22 «Health care» is a fundamental process on the way to realization in the profession.
Recall that the international project GoodPharma Jean Monnet within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program will be implemented for three years at the Lviv Polytechnic National University jointly by the Department of Marketing and Logistics (Institute of Economics and Management) and the Department of Technology of Biologically Active Substances, Pharmacy and Biotechnology (TBASPB) (Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies), as well as the Resource Center for Educational Information Technologies for People with Special Needs.
