The Project Office, Lviv Polytechnic, invites University researchers to pay attention to the grant competition «Data space for security and law enforcement» within the framework of the Digital Europe program.
The objective is to deploy a common European Security data space for innovation allowing research, development, testing, training and validation of algorithms for AI-based systems for security (law enforcement) based on various types of datasets, including operational pseudonymized and anonymized datasets.
Particular attention must be given to reducing potential bias in algorithms to be used by law enforcement.
Projects must deploy trust mechanisms (security and privacy), data services that ensure the identity of the data source and recipient, as well as data access and use rights.
The total budget is €8,000,000.
The deadline for submitting applications is March 16, 2023.
