Fulbright Academic Exchange Program

Fulbright Graduate Student Program - studying at American universities for one to two years to obtain a master's degree. The competition is open to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of scholarship award.

Fulbright Faculty Development Program is a program about conducting research or advanced training at US universities for one academic year. The competition is open to teachers and researchers under the age of 40, with two years of professional experience, who do not have a scientific degree, young PhDs (not later than five years after the defense), specialists in library science, journalists and specialists in the field of cultural management.

The program provides:

  • scientific internships for foreign university teachers and scientists;
  • repeated invitations of former scholarship holders;
  • scientific short and annual scholarships;
  • full Ph.D. studies in Germany and Ph.D. studies with dual scientific supervision;
  • research scholarships for highly qualified foreign postgraduate and doctoral students, as well as for senior scientists with degrees in aeronautics, outer space, transport, and energy.

These are also scholarships for graduates of all specialties and separate scholarships for graduates in the field of economics, architecture, design, and art. In particular, scholarships are offered for studying at the Master's Programs in Sustainable Development (EROS), programs of the European University Viadrina, summer courses in Germany, group trips for students to Germany, and a program for journalism or German studies students with work experience and good command of the German language.
