During his visit to the University of Messina (Italy), Oleh Karyi, Vice-Rector for International Relations of Lviv Polytechnic, held a series of working meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two universities.
During a meeting with Professor Antonino Germanà, Vice-Rector at the University of Messina, the parties discussed support for Italian language education at Lviv Polytechnic. In particular, they considered the possibility of offering free annual online Italian language courses for Lviv Polytechnic students.
They also discussed plans to sign a new cooperation agreement in the near future which is expected to create additional opportunities for Lviv Polytechnic students to pursue studies at the University of Messina free of charge in a range of academic programs taught in English and Italian.
Particular attention was paid to the development of international educational and research projects. During a meeting with Dr. Francesca Scribano, Head of the International Office of the University of Messina, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation within European educational programs, academic mobility initiatives, and international research projects.
In addition, a meeting with Professor Tindara Abbate, the Department of Economics, focused on opportunities for organizing joint scientific conferences and expanding collaboration in international research projects.
