An official meeting between the leadership of Lviv Polytechnic National University and a delegation from the National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» took place at Lviv Polytechnic, during which a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions was signed.
The document was signed by the Rector of Lviv Polytechnic Nataliia Shakhovska and Rector of Poltava Polytechnic Volodymyr Onyshchenko, marking a new stage in the development of interuniversity partnership.
During the meeting, the participants discussed key areas of future cooperation, including the implementation of joint research initiatives, the development of innovative projects, the training of specialists for strategically important sectors of the economy, academic mobility opportunities for students and faculty members, and participation in international educational and grant programs.
Vice-Rector for Research of Poltava Polytechnic Olena Stepova and Vice-Rector for Research of Lviv Polytechnic Iryna Yaremchuk also took part in the meeting. The participants exchanged views on prospects for strengthening scientific and innovation activities, promoting interdisciplinary research, and engaging young scientists in collaborative projects.
Directors of Lviv Polytechnic’s Institutes also joined the meeting, presenting opportunities for cooperation in the field of economics, management and entrepreneurship development. Director of the Institute of Economics and Management Mykhailo Honchar highlighted potential areas of collaboration in economics, management, and entrepreneurship. Director of the Institute of Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Life Safety Zinovii Blikharskyi focused on opportunities for joint initiatives in construction and infrastructure development. Director of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies Bohdan Dziniak outlined prospects for cooperation in chemical technologies, energy efficiency, and applied scientific research.
