From February 5 to 9, 2024, at the invitation of Professor Mariola Grzebyk, Head of the Department of Economics and Management, the Institute of Economics and Finance, the University of Rzeszów, the first training module was held in the form of scientific internship. Academics of the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic, including Professor Liana Chernobai, Acting Head of the Department of Management and International Business (MIB), Assistant Professors Iryna Pasinovych and Nataliia Duliaba, the Department of MIB, and Halyna Myskiv, Professor at the Department of Marketing and Logistics, attended the event.
At the meetings with colleagues from the University of Rzeszów, they discussed long-term successful cooperation and directions for its further development. At the host university, Lviv Polytechnic researchers learned about the organizational structure of the institution, scientific approaches and didactic developments of the Institute of Economics and Finance. During the discussion of further directions of cooperation within the framework of the current agreement between the universities, attention was focused on the topic of joint scientific research, holding international scientific and practical conferences, and organizing summer and winter schools.
The meeting with Professor Ryszard Pukała, Vice Rector of the Yaroslavl State Agricultural Academy, provided by the internship program, was also constructive and fruitful. In particular, the future areas of cooperation within the framework of Erasmus+ and NAWA joint projects were discussed. Liana Chernobai, Iryna Pasinovych, Nataliia Duliaba and Halyna Myskiv learned about the history of the institution, sources of its funding, educational programs, and organization of students’ leisure time on the Academy’s campus. The Lviv researchers visited the modern library of the Academy, equipped with means of providing services to students with disabilities, as well as laboratories, practical classes in electrical engineering, and a new Student Service Center.
In addition to offline meetings, the internship program also provides two online modules aimed at improving didactic developments and preparing for the publication of the results of scientific research.
