Six representatives of Lviv Polytechnic entered the list of World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2019

Analysts at Stanford University, Elsevier and SciTech Strategies have released another World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2019. It is gratifying that 85 Ukrainian scientists entered this prestigious list. The database evaluates scientists of the world on the basis of standardized citation indications. These include information on the number of citations, H -Index, co-authorship and a composite indicator. The list includes more than 160,000 scientists from all over the world, and divided into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields.

Academic society of Lviv region is represented by eight scientists, including six from Lviv Polytechnic National University, one representative from Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University and one from Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics.

The scientific elite of the world includes the following representatives of Lviv Polytechnic:

  • Viktoriia Vysotska – Department of Information Systems and Networks, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies;
  • Nataliia Shakhovska – Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies;
  • Petro Pukach – Department of Computational Mathematics and Programming, Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences;
  • Vasyl Lytvyn – Department of Information Systems and Networks, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies;
  • Zinovii Nytrebych – Department of Mathematics, Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences;
  • Halyna Klym – Department of Specialized Computer Systems, Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology.
