The webinar on Complex Awareness Raising and Behaviour Change for the Mercury-Free City Environment within the Summer School took place at Lviv Polytechnic National University on 18 June 2025. It dealt with the problem of mercury pollution and ways to overcome it.
The event brought together students and lecturers from the Department of Software, the Department of Ecological Safety and Nature Protection Activity, representatives of Lviv State University of Life Safety, executive authorities, public activists and environmental enthusiasts. It was organised as part of the international project LIFE Mercury-FREE and became a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and motivation for action.
The webinar revealed the multifaceted nature of the mercury pollution problem and highlighted the important role of communities, municipalities and digital innovations.
All participants got acquainted with the guidelines, best practice report and electronic visual materials prepared as part of the project.
