The third module «MBA for heads of higher education institutions» within the Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention (LUTUR) programme was held on December 13–16 in Lviv. One and a half days of training took place at Lviv Polytechnic.
The Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention (LUTUR) programme is implemented by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports.
This time, teams from six higher education institutions of Ukraine discussed the topic of autonomy and leadership in university management, the use of HR methods in personnel management, personnel development programs, and risk assessment and management effectiveness in higher education institutions.
This time, Olha Budnyk, adviser to the President of Ukraine on issues of the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports, and Uliana Avtonomova, adviser to the Acting Director of the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports, who shared the details of the Ukrainian-British Scientific Diaspora project, joined the event.

- Olena Mukan, Department of Doctoral and Post-graduate studies;
- Ivan Opirskyi, head of the «Cyber.Action» Center, head of the Department of Information Security, the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology;
- Nazarii Podolchak, Director of Tech StartUp School, Head of the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, the Institute of Public Administration, Governance and Professional Development;
- Yurii Roiko, Head of the Department of Transport Technologies, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport.
In the period between the Programme modules, the university teams work on the preparation of the institutional change project and promote its discussion and agreement in the university community. Other Vice-Rectors and representatives of the Lviv Polytechnic community are involved in these developments.
