On February 2, the Winter School on Student Self-Government opened for 7–11 grades students of Lviv and Ivano-Frankiv regions. 170 teams, including Dreamers, Conscious, Unbreakable, Born to be happy!, Youth on fire, volunteered to participate in the project.
In February, participants will study in 5 areas, 4 of which will be taught by teaching staff of Lviv Polytechnic National University:
- Design Thinking and Creativity by Oleksandra Mrykhina, Doctor of Economics, Professor;
- Emotional Intelligence and Conflict Resolution by Nataliia Tsyhylyk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;
- Leadership and Team Building by Yana Levytska, Doctor of Philosophy, senior lecturer;
- Management, Self-Government and Time Management by Zynovii Siryk, Doctor of State Administration, Associate Professor.
Communications and PR by Vira Pustovit, communicator, PR specialist, founder of the marketing studio and PR Butterfly studio.
The classes, which will be conducted by the faculty of the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, the Institute of Public Administration, Governance and Professional Development, Lviv Polytechnic, will include a theoretical and practical component. At the same time, teams with the support of school mentors will create their own management projects.
The best projects will be presented in the final, and the winners will be awarded with cash prizes.
