The results of the QS World University Rankings 2025 have been published.
Lviv Polytechnic has risen one step in the ranking among Ukrainian universities and occupies fourth place. Iin the general list it is included in the category 1001–1200.
The ranking is formed on the basis of nine criteria in five main areas of assessment:
- research:
- academic reputation – 30%;
- research citations per paper – 20%;
- employment:
- employer reputation – 15%;
- employment rate – 5%;
- teaching:
- the ratio between the number of students and academic staff is 10%;
- global engagement:
- the share of international academic staff – 5%;
- international research network – 5%;
- the share of international students – 5%;
- criterion of sustainable development – 5%.
This year’s ranking is the most representative, it includes more than 1,500 universities from 105 countries, including 11 from Ukraine.
