It is the first laboratory at the Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems, created in collaboration with alumni. Taras Fedak, the Development Director at the renewable energy company Eco Optima, contributed a lot to its opening. However, all employees of the Department actively participated in its creation.
Vice-Rector Oleh Davydchak, IPEC Director Andrii Lozynskyi, Head of EPECS Department Mykhailo Seheda, who described the capabilities of the station, attended the opening. Some part of the devices was purchased at sponsors’ expense, and another part at their own expense, earned due to the qualification training courses for Oblenergo leadership, namely, the new generation device, which allows to analyze in real time all input and output parameters of any element of the electric power system. Another device records all emergency processes in power systems.
