The publishing company Elsevier, with the support of ICSR Lab, compiled a ranking that includes 2% of the most cited researchers in the world at the end of the year.
A total of 108 Ukrainians were included in this list. In particular, the list of the Lviv team increased compared to last year: 14 researchers from the region were included in the ranking of the most influential researchers. Among them there are 8 representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University:
- Nataliia Shakhovska, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems, the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies;
- Vasyl Lytvyn, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Networks, the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies;
- Ivan Izonin, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems, the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies;
- Viktoriia Vysotska, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems and Networks, the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies;
- Petro Kravets, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems and Networks, the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies;
- Roman Tkachenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Publishing Information Technologies, the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies;
- Solomiia Fedushko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Deputy Head of Research, Associate Professor at the Department of Social Communication and Information Activities, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences;
- Yaroslav Blikharskyi, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Highways and Bridges, the Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Systems.
In addition to them, the list also includes two representatives of the Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and one representative from the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, the National Forestry University of Ukraine, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and the Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
