Department’s staff members lead an active scholar life, in which students and scientists of other educational and academic institution are engaged.
Department’s staff members have made a contribution in the development of Ukrainian Historical Science. Under the egis of Professor Leontii Deshchynskyi scientific school in investigation of military history of Ukraine has been created. Its members have issued many monographs, textbooks and handbooks.
According to the department’s new scientific challenge – «Innovation potential of historical cultural heritage», teachers actively work in the field of historical cultural heritage, Museology and culture heritage protection. Besides, there are few practice museum experts renowned in Ukraine.
Scientific works of Department’s staff members are published in scientific journal «Historical Cultural Studies».
Teachers of the department make a significant contribution in development and improving of scientific pedagogical technologies, actively work with students and encourage the growth of their academic interests.
