- We have been working with Frederick Community College, Maryland, USA, for more than eleven years. This is the first educational institution in the world which created Veteran and Military Services. After an internship in the United States, learning how they work with military, it was decided to introduce such practice at Polytechnic. Now we are covering several areas - study at the University, help to start own business, as well as engage veterans to work in logistics, said Olesia Bik. - We have created a comfortable and multifunctional inclusive space where we have the opportunity to organize various meetings, conduct individual consultations, provide the necessary information support on study programs within the long-term international Ukraine-Norway project operating at our University, aimed at reducing the impact of the negative social consequences of economic and defense sector reforms of our country for discharged servicemen and members of their families, as well as the effective implementation of the model of professional adaptation of servicemen, veterans and members of their families in the state system of Ukraine.

At the meeting with Yurii Bobalo, Rector of Lviv Polytechnic, the Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs had the opportunity to learn about the University's plans for the development of educational and scientific activities for veterans.
