Yevhen Zamora was born on October 24, 1914. He was a Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Design and Technology of Radio Equipment, Lviv Polytechnic.
From 1947 he worked at the Department of Radio Engineering as a senior lecturer. He was the dean of the Faculty of Radio Engineering (1958–1968). In 1960 he created and headed the Department of Design and Technology of Radio Equipment, which he headed until 1974.
He organized a research laboratory at the Department, where research in the field of generating highly stable microwave oscillations was conducted. He was the first to start working in the field of automated design of electronic equipment in Ukraine.
From 1961 to 1962 he was the Vice-Rector for Education at Lviv Polytechnic Institute. From 1974 he worked as a Professor at the Department of Design and Technology of Radio Equipment, and from 1975 as a Professor at the Department of Radio Engineering Devices.
He published 87 research and methodical works, including one monograph and 10 copyright certificates.
