Lecturer at the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences participates in a scholarship program in the Republic of Korea

In the 2020–2021 academic year Liubava Matlai, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and International Relations, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Lviv Polytechnic, has successfully studied at the Konyang University, Daejeon and Nonsan, within the scholarship program of the Government of the Republic of Korea

In accordance with the requirements and rules of the scholarship program of the Government of the Republic of Korea, the first year of academic mobility is aimed at mastering a sufficient amount of Korean language, the culture of the Korean people, its traditions and political system. Liubava Matlai attended lectures, seminars, studied Korean, in particular, socio-political, colloquial and scientific vocabulary. She focused on studying the history of Korea, its political system, economy, national and foreign policy, in particular, focusing more deeply on foreign policy and diplomacy, instruments of diplomatic influence etc. She studied the experience of Korean teachers, and the peculiarities of managing Konyang University.

This is a good opportunity for the faculty of the Department of Political Science and International Relations to get involved in the international academic community, to exchange experience, to receive upskilling training, and acquire new knowledge and skills.
