Dear Polytechnicians!
October 14 is a special day that unites such feasts as: the Intercession of the Theotokos, the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, the Day of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks.
This day has acquired its new meaning since the war in the East of our state started. Now, October 14 is also a day of remembrance and honouring the feat of those who, sacrificing their most precious things – their health and life, defend Ukraine.
This day is also special for Lviv Polytechnic, as dozens of our students, academics and employees went through the merciless crucible of hostilities. Their feat is an unconditional testimony of love and devotion to their people. Only due to such people we have the opportunity today to work, study, and be with our family.
