On September 27, Lviv Polytechnic hosted the 69th International Conference on Vibration Processes and Systems in Engineering. The event was organized by the Department of Technical Mechanics and Engineering Graphics, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, Lviv Polytechnic, Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania and the publishing company Extrica in Lithuania.
The conference brought together scientists and practitioners in a wide variety of modern manufacturing industries: from mechanical engineering to chemical engineering, from construction to food technology, from mining to radio engineering and avionics. Oscillatory processes are also actively studied in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas engineering, geodesy, geology, materials science, metallurgy, etc. Given the widespread use of vibration technologies, this conference aims to establish cooperation between domestic and foreign scientists in various fields to present the results of scientific and applied research and scientific and technical developments, identify relevant areas for further research, and implement international projects and grants.
The conference addressed the following issues:
- Scientific and practical problems of realization of discrete-continuous systems in vibration equipment
- Practice and prospects of development of productive forces in Ukraine
- Present and future of vibration engineering
- Investigation of the influence of the load change rate on the values of the coefficients of intensity of forces and moments in a cylindrical shell with a longitudinal crack
- Influence of welding axial stresses on the strength of a welded joint of a pipe with a defect
- Influence of welding cycle on material damage parameters of high-strength steel joint with austenitic weld
- Mathematical modeling of the possibility of creating an interresonant discrete-continuous vibration process equipment without a spring
- Modeling the conditions of movement of an advanced vibrating robot in a pipe
- Statistical review of literature on carbon emissions during CSPB based on knowledge graphs
- Development of fault identification of wind turbine transmission system gearbox based on VMD and FNN
