Students and postgraduate students of Lviv Polytechnic can submit their applications for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience in USA (USURE) program for 2025.
As part of this program, the Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials at North Dakota State University in Fargo, USA, accepts applications, selects the best candidates and provides research scholarships to Ukrainian students studying at Lviv Polytechnic National University, and majoring in «Chemical technologies and engineering», «Biotechnologies and bioengineering», «Food technologies» or «Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy», and to postgraduate students from the first to the third year of study.
Selected students and postgraduate students will work full-time on projects in the fields of polymer science which are related to the research interests of the Department in the research group of one of the professors at the Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials at North Dakota State University for any 10 weeks between May 12 and August 15, 2025.
The Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials is recognized as one of the leading educational and research Departments in its field. The Department offers summer research projects in the following areas:
- Synthesis of bio-based polymers
- Synthesis of high-performance polymers
- Polymers/polymeric materials for biomedical applications
- Polymeric nanomaterials
- Polymeric materials for environmental applications and effects
- Computational polymer science
Students and postgraduates will receive a scholarship. Fargo offers affordable on-campus housing.
