On June 18, 2024, there was the announcement of the winner of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Lviv Service Delivery Center (PwC Lviv SDC) scholarship program and Lviv Polytechnic students who participated in the program were awarded certificates. The event marked the next stage of fruitful cooperation between the University and PwC Lviv SDC.
In February 2024, a scholarship program was launched by Lviv Polytechnic Development Center with the support of PwC Lviv SDC and lasted for four months. It was introduced to encourage the most successful students, as well as to motivate students to develop professionally, improve their learning, and intensify their research and practice. The program was open to students majoring in Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market (Department of Finance, Institute of Economics and Management).
The scholarship program was developed by PwC Lviv Service Delivery Center which stated operate in April 2018 and specializes in providing audit, tax, legal and consulting services. It was created to fulfill a number of professional tasks for projects in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE): Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Balkan and Baltic countries.
The advantage of the program is an integrated training intensive of five courses that provides professional ideas and real-life examples in professional activities. Participants gain practical experience from seven experts in financial process automation, Data Analytics, SQL, Business Intelligence (BI), Lean, digital audit, and other modern areas. In addition, the program provides opportunities for networking and discussion of relevant topics with professionals.
Antonina Kurets, Head of Human Resources at PwC Lviv, Andriana Mazur, Head of Lviv Polytechnic Development Center, and Lidiia Bondarenko, Scholarship Program Coordinator from the Department of Finance at Lviv Polytechnic National University, took part in the event.
Antonina Kurets shared her impressions and emphasized the importance of the partnership between PwC and Lviv Polytechnic. Her speech emphasized the importance of educational initiatives that promote students’ development.
The event was another confirmation of the fruitful cooperation between Lviv Polytechnic and PwC Lviv Service Delivery Center, which is aimed at supporting talented young people, developing educational potential and training highly qualified specialists.
