On March 9, 2024, on the birthday of our Great Prophet Taras Shevchenko, the winners of the 6th All-Ukrainian essay competition «My Shevchenko» were announced on the official website of the public organization «Innovative Horizons of Ukraine». This year, among the winners there are students of Lviv Polytechnic National University: third place– Anna Babiuk, a 1st-year student at the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies («IT Product Management») and Viktoriia Yakym, 2nd-year student at the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology («Cybersecurity»).
The public organization «Innovative Horizons of Ukraine» together with various educational institutions -
- State scientific institution «Institute of Modernization of the Content of Education»;
- Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University;
- Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs;
- Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University;
- Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University;
- T.G. Shevchenko Uman Humanitarian and Pedagogical College at the Cherkasy Regional Council.
The All-Ukrainian Essay Competition for Pupils and Students «My Shevchenko», dedicated to the works of the great Kobzar, is held in 2024 for the sixth time.
2,685 people from all over Ukraine took part in the competition in six nominations by age category, and 2,362 educators were involved in their training, 138 of them were from universities. 192 applicants from 57 higher education institutions took part in the nomination «Students of Higher Education of Ukraine».
This year, Lviv Polytechnic National University was represented by students of three Institutes, namely:
- Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies;
- Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology;
- Institute of Economics and Management
