In May 2025, lecturers of Lviv Polytechnic National University took part in the international online course Project Scoping with AI Assistance, announced by the Center for International Education. The course was conducted by Professor Rodney Stevens from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), which is a participant of The Baltic University Programme (BUP).
The training program was dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence for project analysis and planning, familiarization with the five stages of system modeling, and work with case studies. Lecturers from universities in Kharkiv, Ternopil, Uzhhorod, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Lviv took part in the course.
From Lviv Polytechnic, representatives of various institutes and departments successfully completed the course: PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages for Engineering Veronika Dmytruk (Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences), PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Management of Organizations Mariia Veselovska (Institute of Economics and Management), Professor of the Department of Management and International Business, Doctor of Economics, Professor Myroslava Bublyk (Institute of Economics and Management); lecturers of the Department of Information Systems and Networks of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies: PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor Tetiana Shestakevych, PhD in Social Communication, Associate Professor Nataliia Veretennikova, PhD in Engineering, Assistant Lecturer Ihor Karpov, as well as Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Automated Design Systems of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies Taras Cherna.
Within the training, participants developed case projects and presented them at the final defense. After the course completion, all projects were uploaded to an international platform for the development of educational and research initiatives. Participants received certificates of successful course completion, equivalent to 3 or 5 ECTS credits.
