The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovations approved the Draft Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No.3815 «On the appointment in 2020 of the nominal scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists – Doctors of Sciences».
89 applications from 20 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv were submitted for this scholarship. Almost three applicants competed for one place, so it has been the largest number of participants since 2008.
In total, in 2020, 30 nominal scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were awarded to young scientists – Doctors of Sciences. Among them there is Halyna Klym, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Specialized Computer Systems, the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The University representative will receive a scholarship to conduct her research work «Modified functional nanomaterials for sensors and specialized information and measurement systems».
