Lviv Polytechnic National University hosted the opening of the project «EU Eastern Partnership Initiative: Opportunities for Ukraine» within the EU Erasmus+ programme – Jean Monnet, which will be implemented over the next three years to develop comprehensive knowledge about the European Union, peculiarities of the European integration of Ukraine, as well as the role of the Eastern Partnership in creating a common European space.

- Yaroslav Muzychko, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of the Department of International Technical Assistance and International Cooperation, Lviv Regional State Administration;
- Oksana Yurynets, Communication Manager of the EaP_Initiative project, Professor at the Department of Foreign Trade and Customs, Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- Hanna Hopko, Chair of the ANTS Board, Expert in Foreign Policy and International Relations, Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Foreign Affairs of the VIII convocation;
- Nataliia Hots, Head of the Center for International Education, Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- Roman Kalytchak, Member of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers on European Integration, Senior Research Fellow at the Western Ukrainian Research Center for European Studies, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv;
- Nataliia Chornopyska, Member of the Jean Monnet project within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ programme «Logistics and Supply Chain Management: dissemination of European experience», implemented by the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The event was moderated by Yaryna Turchyn, Director of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Scientific Consultant and Academic Coordinator of the EaP_Initiative project.
The event aroused considerable interest among students, academic staff and other stakeholders. About a hundred people took part in it.
The event featured a presentation of a video prepared by International Relations students entitled «New in the EaP_Initiative module», as well as information about the new course, which aims to strengthen the educational and scientific components of training, as well as to create a consortium of academic, governmental and community structures, whose activities are related to the cooperation development between Ukraine and the EU, the implementation of European standards and realization of the Strategic Development Plan of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
