The University IT College signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Product IT Foundation for Education

The IT College, Lviv Polytechnic National University, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the non-governmental organization Product IT Foundation for Education, which was created by the Ukrainian co-founding company Genesis, representatives of the Horizon Capital Fund and the Kyiv School of Economics for the development of IT education and the implementation of the best practices of modern business – training in the Ukrainian system of academic education.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to promote the development of education, science, and scientific and technical activities to meet the needs of the national economy in qualified personnel and the results of applied scientific research and to ensure its innovative development and increase the level of competitiveness.

The key participants in this project are the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the company Genesis and the Product IT Foundation for Education, as well as the IT College of Lviv Polytechnic.

The day before, three representatives of the College – Mariia Kisil, Ihor Kahalo and Olha Kahalo – completed the training program and received accreditation for the integration of the course «Creation and development of IT products» at the College. The purpose of the course is career guidance in product IT, development of entrepreneurial thinking of students, strengthening of the practical component in educational institutions and development of product IT.

Therefore, from September 2023, students of the IT College at Lviv Polytechnic will have the opportunity to master the course and study «Product Management», «Marketing of IT Products», «Consumer Behavior», «Analytics in Product IT», «Technical Development of Products», «UI/UX design», and «Hiring and teamwork».
