The University hosted the III International Conference «Innovative technologies in the development of modern society»

The III International Scientific and Practical Conference «Innovative Technologies in the Development of Modern Society» took place on October 7–8, 2021.

For the third year in a row, with the same co-organizers, the International Conference is initiated by three Departments of the Institute of Enterprise and Advanced Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University, – the Department of Economics and Marketing; the Department of Finance, Accounting and Analysis; and the Department of Information Systems and Technologies.

This year the theme of the plenary session was dedicated to an extremely important issue, namely the management of local communities on the basis of marketing: new opportunities and prospects.

The plenary session began with a welcome speech by the Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yurii Bobalo.

It was discussed:

  1. The need for marketing of territories for the development of territorial communities, the creation of marketing strategies as a basis for community management on the basis of marketing, increasing their competitiveness.
  2. The purpose and objectives of territorial marketing: Community leadership and representative bodies must manage the community IN SUH A WAY that all consumers of the potential of the local community (residents, businesses, visitors, tourists, investors, central government, etc.) can «buy» this potential in the most profitable way for both the consumer and the community.
  3. The role of territorial marketing for the formation of the main planning documents of territorial communities: Concepts of integrated development of territorial communities, Comprehensive plan of spatial development of the territorial community (general plan), Strategy of territorial community development.

This year, the conference accepted 49 printed materials from 78 authors from various national and foreign educational institutions, institutions and organizations, including Poland, Slovakia and India.
