On April 25, 2024, the Department of Pedagogics and Innovative Education, the Institute of Law, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic, held the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Actual Problems of Professional Pedagogy and Education: Experience, Innovations, Prospects».
The conference participants were addressed with a welcome speech by:
- Tetiana Horokhivska, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogics and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic;
- Nataliia Mukan, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor at the Department of Pedagogics and Innovative Education.
The following speakers delivered their reports at the plenary session:
- Ivan Bezena, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Education, Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education, Dnipro, Ukraine;
- Tetiana Motuz, Candidate of Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of General and Special Pedagogy of the Communal Institution of Higher Education, Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education, Dnipro, Ukraine;
- Oleksandra Yakymets, Doctor of Philosophy, Vice President of the European Center of Education (E.C.E.), Rome, Italy;
- Iryna Androshchuk, Doctor of Pedagogy, Head of the Department of Technological and Professional Education and Decorative Arts, Khmelnytskyi National University (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine);
- Glenn Richard Anderson III, visiting professor at the Department of Pedagogics and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic National University (Orlando, Florida, USA – Lviv, Ukraine).
The conference sections were related to:
- theoretical and methodological foundations of modern higher and vocational education;
- innovative technologies for training a professionally mobile student in the context of European integration processes;
- legal, socio-psychological and humanitarian aspects of training a modern graduate;
- peculiarities of organizing and implementing the pedagogical process in institutions of higher education under martial law;
- role of educational management in the training of a professionally and academically mobile specialist.
The conference participants noted the importance of the scientific discussion and the wide-ranging discussion of the issues of professional pedagogy and professional education for the formation of the professional competence of the students.
