On October 10, 2024, Lviv Polytechnic National University hosted a plenary session on «Smart Economy of the Region: Prospects for Development in Modern Conditions» within the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference «Innovative Technologies in the Development of Modern Society». The event was organized by the Institute of Enterprise and Advanced Technologies in cooperation with institutions from Poland and Slovakia.
The conference began with an opening welcome speech by Yosyp Khromiak, the Chairman of the organizing committee, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Enterprise and Advanced Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic. He emphasized that the event would feature topics of modern negative challenges from martial law, prospects for the country’s reconstruction after the war, as well as search for the ways how to overcome problems and how to rebuild the country on the basis of advanced technologies on the path of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
The conference participants were greeted by Professor Oleh Matviikiv, Doctor of Technical Sciences, the First Vice-Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The moderator of the plenary session was Hanna Oleksiuk, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Marketing, the Institute of Enterprise and Advanced Technologies. She defined the tools of the smart economy of the region.
The topics of this year’s conference demonstrated the formulation of new topical issues in accordance with the complex challenges to our country. The organizers are grateful to the conference speakers for their participation and actualization of today’s issues!
