The plan of events which will be held in Kyiv and Lviv on August 27–29, 2017 was discussed at the meeting of the organizing committee for preparing for Ukrainian World Congress 50th anniversary celebration at Lviv regional state administration.
The official opening will be held in Lviv on August 27, in the square near the monument to Andrei Sheptytskyy.
A historic documentary exhibition will be presented and the 5th International congress «Diaspora as a driving force for the state of Ukraine consolidation in the international community» as well as an International Academic Practical Conference «Ukrainian World Congress: yesterday, today, tomorrow» will be held on August 28, in Lviv Polytechnic National University.
An exhibition of the diaspora artists’ works will be presented on August 29, in Andrei Sheptystkyy National Museum in Lviv as part of the celebrations.
The celebrations will be concluded by a Gala evening in Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
