During 2021, the international IT company GlobalLogic invested in the development of IT education at Lviv Polytechnic National University. Among the priority areas there are a competition of grants for faculty and assistance in the implementation of innovative projects. Thus, with the help of GlobalLogic, university students created a prototype security system that distinguishes a living person from a fake photo or video image. Following the results of the year, GlobalLogic became one of the «Philanthropists of the Year of Lviv Polytechnic».
In 2021, two projects from Lviv Polytechnic teams received a grant from GlobalLogic within GL Education. This is a chatbot from the disciplines «Machine Learning» and «Deep Learning» and an online course on the principles of sensors. During the year, the company’s experts worked with teams and helped to implement projects.
In total, during the cooperation with the University, the company transferred university Embedded Starter Kits equipment for seven joint courses and more than 300 units of computer technology. Also on the basis of the university GlobalLogic opened a training laboratory and joint IT courses with the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems.
