The team of the Department of Photonics at Lviv Polytechnic National University has been invited to participate in the XII International Robotics Competitions Sumo Challenge 2019, which is held on December 7, 2019 at Lodz University of Technology, Poland. The team consists of students from the Department of Photonics at the Institute of Telecommunications, Radioelectronics and Electronic Engineering – Oleksandr Komarenko, Oleksii Bukhtii, Dmytro Sokalskyi and Taras Shabaranskyi. The team leader is Associate Professor Vasyl Tataryn.

Let us remind that on October 25–27, 2019 Lviv Polytechnic National University held the All-Ukrainian Autonomous Robot Racing Competition for the Lviv Polytechnic Cup. The winner of the competition (1st place) and the winner of the Cup was a student team from the Department of Photonics.
