Yana Shymborska, Ostap Lishchynskyi and Tetiana Shevtsova, students of the Department of Organic Chemistry of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies at Lviv Polytechnic National University, being invited by Polish University, took part in the BioSmartLab workshop, which took place at Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) from 15 to May 18, 2018. The event was devoted to the internship and study of new methods of modification as well as biologically active surfaces.
During the workshop, Polytechnicians not only learned how to work with such equipment as atomic force and confocal microscopes, but also communicated with Polish students and lecturers.
The scientific supervisor of the students' work is the associate professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry Yurii Stetsyshyn, who closely collaborates with Marian Smoluchowski Institute of Physics at Jagiellonian University.
