Students and teachers of the University’s IT College can now participate in the Creative Spark program

IT College of Lviv Polytechnic begins cooperation with Tech StartUp School of the University. As part of it, students and teachers of the College will be able to participate in the Creative Spark program.

Creative Spark is a five-year initiative to support international university and institutional partnerships to develop entrepreneurial skills and creative economy in seven countries with the support of the British Council. The project is part of a partnership between Kingston University – Tech StartUp School – Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The program consists of three study blocks.

  1. Introductory session (4 hours) – idea search, trend research, startup development, and interactive business games.
  2. BootCamp (12 hours) – the path from idea formation to its implementation: finding and developing your own idea, creating a business model, communicating with the client, marketing, team building, attracting investment, and researching market trends.
  3. Pitching session (4 hours) – learning to pitch (present) ideas and create presentations for investors. Opportunity to participate in the Big Idea Challenge startup competition with a prize fund of up to 3,000 pounds and mentoring support.

Training is conducted in Ukrainian, project defense – in English (you can prepare in advance). Tuition is free for students and teachers of Lviv Polytechnic (costs are covered by the program).

The trainings are conducted by teachers who have been trained in accelerators in the UK according to the methods of Kingston University (UK). Participation in the program will give participants the opportunity for future cooperation with Tech StartUp School, a certificate, use of Tech LabInno, networking and new acquaintances, the opportunity to develop and participate in various startup competitions.
