Khmelnytskyi Polytechnicians continue to conquer the world’s sports arenas. Another good news came from the capital of Italy – the city of Rome. Here, at the European Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held on February 15–20, Anastasiia Boreichuk, a student of Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic College, Lviv Polytechnic National University, became the European champion in the Juvenile 1 / Blue / Middle category and the European silver medalist in the Jivenile1/ Blue / Absolute category.
This significant achievement on the world stage is the result of many years of fruitful cooperation between the athlete and the Federation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Khmelnytsky region, whose president is a graduate of the college Rostyslav Rybak. He also competed in the European Championships and won a bronze medal in the Master 1 / Brown / Heavy category.
